Well folks,

Barbara Gemmell broke one of her toes while going through airport security, so it appears she will not be doing the race. I hope your trip to the ER was a little less painful than your trip through airport security!!!

It also appears as though Tracy DV, is now sporting a blonde high and tight!! Could use a little shaving on those legs too!!!

OH, that is not our Tracy DV, but Cpl. Jacob, Wanda's (Worrywart) son is now running in Tracy's spot.

Thank you for stepping up to the plate Cpl. Jacob!!! WOOOHOOO

As our spotters call in, We will be giving you up to date information on our team!!!

Sandra

Gayle and Victor Naschansky have completed the 10-K. Gayle called in a few minutes ago and sounds absolutely great.

Things I have accomplished in my life...

Completed a MCM 10K, OohRah!!! Clock time was 1:08, I'm not sure what my chip time was or how to get it. The race was wonderful, I'm so glad I did it. Maybe I can be talked into the marathon next year...

We're off to the airport, gotta dash back home for work tomorrow.

Good luck to all the marathon runners, you guys are my heros.

Terri

Barbara Gemmell and Barbara Lopez both completed the 10 K successfully.

A broken toe? What a real trooper!

Congratulations to all on having a successful event.

Hey I'm home and I had a great time. It was great to meet all the other participants and their families.

The guy at Airport security asked me if I was "in the race this weekend". (I guess EVERYBODY was - OR my head to toe Marine garb gave it away lol) I told him yes and I was just glad to get to the finish line. HE sends congrats to our whole team.
The toe is better now that it's getting a little rest. Poor baby sucked it up pretty good this weekend. Thanks for all the cheers and wishes of luck!

Barbara, I'm glad you made it home safely! Take good care of that poor toe, keep it elevated, you'll need it in good shape for next year!

Grins...
